If you have a dream. What do you do to reach it?

How fair has world been about you?

One thing everyone tells is: “The life isn’t fair”.
Today I’ll say a story for you. This story turns around a girl.
She was dreamer. Her biggest dream has been enter in a college. Then she has been a very good student in your high school life.
High school… maybe it’s worse stage in life of a teenager. Because it’s the time when you are massacring with matters, new informations, new subjects and then new and definitive decisions. That decision will take you to your future.
I know in USA the sequence of school is a little different than in Brazil. Here we study 8 years on basic school, subsequently 3 on high school. And after all, towards 5 or 6 years in the college.
The university is a so far dream for mostly people here. The government doesn’t offer us good opportunities. A large scale of Brazilian universities is private, and so expensive.
But anyway, there’s a govern program to offers to alumni’s high school that got a short familiar revenue a scholarship in a private school. Towards a knowledge test.
Well, that girl had been approval in that test. But when she went to take your position in this university. They talked to her she don’t. Why?
Because her familiar revenue outnumber about U$60. Yes, U$60 breaks off her dream of reality.
Who’s that girl? That’s me.
And if you thought I give up you are wrong. I’ll try again in this year. And now I’m working in a drugstore. That isn’t what I want to my life. It’s a little stressful sometimes. But you must learn how to be happy in your conditions.
When things go wrong as they sometimes will. When the road you're trudging seems all up hill. When funds are low and the debts are high. And you want to smile, but you have to sigh. When care is pressing you down a bit.
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns. As every one of us sometimes learns. And many a failure turns about when he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow - You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out - The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.
And you never can tell how close you are. It may be near when it seems so far:
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit it’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.
Believe in yourself and all that you are.
Know that there's something inside you that is greater than any obstacle.

What an inspiring story! You are so correct that having faith and a positive attitude are an important part of happiness.
It is *not* what happens to us that determines our happiness. It is how we interpret what happens to us.
I love this blog and I am proud of you.
